Description Pleurotus Ostreatus (Black Pearl) liquid culture. Black Pearl is a Japanese hybrid of Pleurotus Ostreatus Japanese "Shimofuri hiratake". It has a beautiful black marble color with white spots that resemble a starry night sky. They are firm, fleshy and very tasty. The mycelium grows at a temperature of 21-23°C and fruiting bodies are formed at temperatures of 15-20°C and humidity of 80-90%. It can be grown on hardwood sawdust or straw. Packaging: 10 ml of liquid mycelium and 1 sterile needle. Storage: 4-5 months at room temperature, or 10-12 months in the refrigerator Video tutorial for propagating liquid mycelium can be found here
